Uncle Jesse’s Christmas Jam VII 12-11-10 by Sky

Jesse Davis organized his annual Christmas Benefit Jam for the 7th year in a row at Jailhouse Rock in Trenton, IL. The place was packed to standing room only. The free food was plentiful and awesome. The bands were well prepared for their performances and put on quite a show. Elvis even made a surprise appearance while The Jumpstarts were playing, and packed the dance floor. The highlight of the night was Dean Zeisset’s latest project, Flat Jam Coalition that features Jen Dilley on vocals in an 8 piece funky bluesy jam band with 3 horns playing arrangements by Jason Swagler and keys by Andrew Stephan. Dean is the amazing professional that holds the group together, and is joined by a rock solid rhythm section on funky 6-string bass and drums as solid as a metronome. The entire band is college educated and experienced working musicians in other bands. This band is going to cause quite a stir on the major event scene. Watch for them!!!
I loaded a new slide show of photos I took at the jam. Go take a look by clicking the link.
