Timothy R. Morse, 56, of Shiloh, Ill., born June 10, 1954, in St. Louis, Mo., passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Tim enjoyed a successful career with Applebee’s Restaurants before retiring as the area director. An avid outdoorsman, he loved camping and gardening creating a literal botanical garden at his home. Also, Tim was a professional and accomplished musician well-known throughout the St. Louis area for over 30 years playing with such popular bands as Russ Bono and the Back Alley Band and Turn-of-the-Century. His considerable charm, warmth and easy-going manner will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Mr. Morse was preceded in death by his mother, Claudine (nee Stamper) Morse.
Surviving are his wife, Susan, nee Wilson, Morse; his father, Raymond Morse; two children, daughter Lindsay, and son Tyler Morse of O’Fallon, Ill.; granddaughters Shelbi and Mackenzi Morse; and other extended family members and friends.
Memorials may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Siteman Cancer Center.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 15 at Kriegshauser West Mortuary. The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 16 at Kriegshauser.
